Today, I present for your pleasure, the 2011 winner:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2helenahandbaskets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/images.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/2helenahandbaskets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/images-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"images\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1950\" \/><\/a>In response to an article by Josh Gerstein in Politico, reprinted at Lucianne.com, titled, <strong>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lucianne.com\/thread\/?artnum=603660\">Anti-Obama Protest Turns Violent<\/a>&#8220;<\/strong>, that began with the sentence, <em>&#8220;Brazilians protesting the imminent visit of President Barack Obama struck the U.S. consulate in Rio de Janeiro with a Molotov cocktail Friday, prompting police to respond with rubber bullets, according to local news accounts.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>SafariMan wins the prize with this fabulous retort:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;When told that there were Brazillions protesting him Barry asked, &#8216;How many is a brazillion?'&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ba da bing! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my very early posts on this blog back in 2006 was to present the first Snarky Award.
