The legislature is taking a four day holiday and the L&#038;C Library will be closed. I am slightly confused. Why are they taking off for a holiday that does not exist?<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the government does not get this holiday. There is no overtime pay associated with this weekend. No schedule changes or extra compensation for emergency personnel. Water production and sewer plant operators are not given the day off or extra pay. As far as I know people regularly scheduled to work this Sunday are not given extra compensation.<\/p>\n<p>So do library personnel take vacation time to take a holiday for Easter? And why do they get the day off?
