So we’ve pretty much been referring to the Democrat’s spending extravaganza as “pork”. Today I heard Senator Ben Nelson (D-Neb) suggest that it’s more about “sacred cows”. <\/p>\n

I’ve always been more or less a city girl, so I’m not particularly well-versed in the particulars of agricultural nomenclature, but I can go along with the barnyard metaphors: You can’t pull the wool over our eyes – let’s just call it a pile of horse manure.<\/p>\n
