Who does the writing for this guy???? In an interview for The Hill Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid made this astute observation, “Democrats must be very careful about overreaching.”

This after he made a huge media spectacle of himself blocking the only black Senator from assuming his rightful place in that august body.

We are now beginning to understand the concept of “careful overreaching”. It apparently means “politically stupid”. Wonder what “careless overreaching” might mean?

One of the most frequently leveled charges made against Sarah Palin during the campaign was her lack of experience in dealing with foreign affairs. I had to smile when I read that Governor Palin hosted a contingent of about two dozen foreign diplomats from all over the world, including Russia, China, South Korea, New Zealand, several European countries, as well as Canada, last week.

I wonder when “The One” last did anything like that?

And she looks pretty dang competent too!

Sometime in the wee hours of this morning (or at least sometime after my bedtime last night) a new blog was launched in the Montana blogosphere – the Rotunda Report. This blog is unique. It is a direct line of communication between our elected officials and “we the people”. No longer do we have to depend on the biased, liberal reporters in the MSM to tell us what’s happening – and why! – in the halls of Montana’s capitol. We can read/see/hear firsthand from the folks we elected to represent us. And we’ll be able to return the favor as comments will be allowed (although they will be monitored and will require a login). You’ll know what’s going on – the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly – from the perspective of those who are right smack in the middle of the sausage-making.
