Q. Why don’t they have ice cubes in North Dakota anymore?
A. Because the little old lady with the recipe died.
Q. What’s the best thing to come out of North Dakota in the past 50 years?
A. Interstate 94
Q. What’s the best news to come out of North Dakota in 2010?
A. Senator Byron Dorgan announced he won’t be running for re-election in November.
******JUST BREAKING******
Q. What’s even better news than that?
A. Senator Chris Dodd is following suit.
Bada bing.
Is this a case of the rats deserting the sinking ship?
I report. You decide.
Ah, so you got the Internet back up and running! Lovely!!
I wish they would have stayed through the election. Even the most ardent Democrat would have to hold his nose to vote for Dodd. Now, they just might feel only mildly nauseous to vote for whoever replaces him.
I think the GOP will get a second chance at running things come this November, both nationally and at the state level (the legislature of course since the headlines today are that our projected ending budget surplus is a little over $16 million – the 40% growth in state spending under Governor BS just isn’t sustainable).
And hopefully, those elected will remember the conservative principles which once made the GOP, in my opinion, a great party.
